Lea has been drawn to yoga wisdom from her childhood. She started to teach to large groups when she was only 17, and her life since has been an unfolding process of becoming a conscious and dedicated yogini.

Well grounded in wide spectrum of Yoga practices, she has been teaching mainly in Europe and Scandinavia where she is co-founder of Zenit Yoga Senter. She is trained in methods of Ashtanga yoga, Integral and Sivananda yoga, classical Hatha and Raja yoga, as well as Eastern philosophy especially in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and Kashmir Shaivism. Her meditation practice is grounded in the Buddhist Vipassana tradition as well as Yoga tradition through direct initiation of beloved Rev Swami Satchidananda. Her deep interest in Yoga psychology is grounded in her academic work and research on Yoga.

For several years, she has also been teaching Developmental Psychology at NTNU University in Norway that deepened her understanding of human development. Her extensive travels in India and life in the ashrams have groundedher relationshipto the Yoga practice, being faithful to her respected teachers, as well as allowing creativity and openness in her transmission of Yoga. Along with her present family life, she is happy to serve Yoga and work of her Gurus, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Rev Swami Satchidananda and other great Beings that she received blessings from.

She also offers international workshops and retreats and develops Teacher Training programs. Her energetic and compassionate being have inspired and supported hundreds of people on their yoga path, and she is committed to share yoga alchemy with all beings that want to make a difference – starting with themselves.
